1. Lowchen – $5,000

Lowchen means “little lion” in German. It’s a lively, small dog that is known for its lion look. The Lowchen breed is eager to learn and they make great show dogs. You will find that they are easily trained. If you do not display proper leadership qualities with a Lowchen, you will find yourself with a dog that is strong-willed and arrogant in its actions.
Even though they aren’t the biggest dog in the house, the Lowchen will usually try and establish that it is the leader amongst other animals and dogs.
2. Samoyed – $4,000 – $7,000

Originating from Siberia, the Samoyed is a devoted and friendly man’s best friend who is not afraid to be playful when the time is right. Samoyeds are a gentle breed who are friendly to everyone they come in contact with, including intruders of your home. It’s much too friendly for you to use it as a watchdog, although it will definitely alert you when they are in the presence of someone strange.

This dog has a unique trait. When it is excited you will notice that it “blushes” and you will see its nose and ears start to glow a deep rose color.

Because the Akita needs a firm leader, it is important that all humans establish their higher-order over the dog, or else you may see excessive biting and growling coming from it. The proper training and exercise will ensure that you have a well-tempered animal.

It is recommended that you introduce a Chow Chow to other housemates (cats, other dogs) when they are young, rather than introducing new dogs to a Chow Chow’s territory once it has aged. Chow Chows are a dominant breed and they require a firm leader that will establish rules and stick to them. A new Chow Chow puppy should be socialized frequently when it is young.

The English Bulldog is a medium sized, wide-framed dog that has short legs. The body and head are covered entirely by excess skin that falls in folds on the forehead and skull.
The English Bulldog has an intimidating appearance, but with the right training it can be one of the most gentle dogs you’ve ever owned.

Mastiffs have a tendency to do things that please their owner, so with the proper training you could have a loyal pooch who responds to your commands.

It’s important that you establish yourself as the alpha pack leader and establish a set of rules that are not to be broken.
